Phoenix & Scottsdale Van Tour with Heard Musem

Experience the unique, lush Sonora Desert. This is the only area on Earth where this type of desert exists.

The past, present and future of Phoenix will be experienced on this tour. Visit downtown Phoenix, the heart of the 5th largest city in the U.S. with its $4 billion dollar development projects. These include the light rail, a medical school, the new Civic Center and historical preservation.

On this tour we'll:

See Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team;

See the US Airways Center, home of the Phoenix Suns basketball team;

Explore the shopping Mecca, Old Town Scottsdale, with a gallery district second only to Santa Fe for the number of galleries per square mile;

Drive through the exclusive Arizona Biltmore area and Paradise Valley, the richest zip code in Arizona, with its multi-million dollar celebrity homes.

We'll also tour the Heard Museum of Native American Culture, one of the premier museums of its kind in the U.S. See the world's largest collection of Kachina dolls, exquisite Navajo rugs, pre-Columbian pottery baskets, and an array of turquoise-laden jewelry from the Navajo, Hopi and Zuni tribes.

Tucson & Sonora Desert Museum Van Tour

Our tour heads south through the Saguaro National Park with its forest of thousands of majestic Saguaros. These are the largest cacti in the U.S. and are only found in the Sonora Desert. The unique Sonora Desert is found nowhere else on Earth.

Next, explore the Sonora Desert Museum, a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden. See animals in their natural habitats including:

Mountain lions

Prairie dogs

The endangered Mexican wolves

Gila monsters.

There will be plenty of time at the museum for walking among the exhibits and for lunch.

Visit the San Xavier del Bac Mission, "the White Dove of the Desert," built in the 1700s. This mission is one of the finest examples of mission architecture in the U.S.

Browse the El Presidio historic district of Tucson, with its artisan shops. The El Presidio district, with its adobe brick structures, is where present-day Tucson meets its 18th century roots, when the Spanish staked claim to the land that makes up present-day Arizona by building a presidio, or fortress.

$119.00 per adult (plus tax)
$59.50 per child under 12 (plus tax)

Sedona, Monezuma Castle & Jerome Van Tour

Head north with us and see Montezuma Castle National Monument. Established in 1905, it is one of the oldest national monuments in the country and is a great illustration of pre-Columbian living in the Southwest. Next, the Red Rocks of Sedona!

While in Sedona we'll:

Explore the Chapel of the Holy Cross for panoramic photos of Sedona's 2000 foot sheer cliffs;

Browse the interesting galleries and shops in Uptown Sedona;

Explore Oak Creek Canyon on scenic Route 89A.

We'll also take a step back in time when we visit Jerome, where copper was king and mining towns were teeming in the wild territorial days of Arizona. A boom town gone bust, Jerome went from a town of 15,000 at the turn of the 20th century to a ghost town in the 1950's. Its hotels have since been converted into shops and restaurants. Jerome provides excellent views of Sedona from above.

$92.00 per adult (plus tax)
$46.00 per child under 12 (plus tax)
