This annual Festival is an artist-oriented event of 24 concerts and 10 educational programs featuring many of today's most renowned jazz and international musicians. Critics and musicians alike have hailed it as "one of the finest festivals in the country," to quote Gil Goldstein, one of last year's performers. A centerpiece of Foundation activities, this immense festival focuses attention squarely on Santa Fe's already formidable reputation as an arts destination and assists in building an active, accessible, year-round music community here. Thanks to National Public Radio and some newly formed Open Arts partnerships with several educational institutions, over 2 million listeners this year will have access to Festival programming.
